First Release! And Bye For Now


Hello there, friends. Tonight, I am releasing the first release of The Battle Of Idumea. Unfortunately I won't be able to work on it for a while. I don't know when I will get access to another computer with Unity, so it could be up to two years before I can make another update. But I hope it won't be that long. This last update for a while has a lot of nice stuff in it though.


Here are the features I can remember

  • Added rocket and nuke launchers (nuke is a little bigger than rocket, but shoot them while you're in the air)
  • Added stuff to the player camp including a table with a map, pistol, pistol clips, button, and a sign that says, "Jesus is Lord," and I added some grenade pickups into the ammo crates and some pickups just outside of those
  • You can now hover with the jetpack by pressing shift in the air and move faster when you press a movement key
  • Added spectator mode (pressing shift or control will increase or decrease your movement speed by five, and pressing q will send you up and e will send you down)
  • The library is now a library (tap E in front of the door or book a few times to go to the menu or play the game)


That is all for now. I hope you all enjoy the first release because it will be the only one for a while. It has been fun and educational working on this game. This is actually the first game that I've been successful with trying to make. I do hope to continue those stories, one of them being the original Idumea game that takes place in the rotation(year) 70 and the other one being the game this game and the last project originated from. It's called Galiwayan Figterz.
